Invite guests

You can invite someone to a video meeting in two ways: share a meeting link directly, or attach the meeting to a calendar event that sends an invitation by email.

Invite with a link

1. Go to Video meetings
2. Each meeting row has a Copy button next to the link
3. Press Copy and paste the link into an email or message

For your personal meeting room you have a fixed link (typically in the form meet.onmeil.eu/fornavn-xxxx) that is always ready at the top of the Video meetings tab. See Personal meeting room.

Invite via calendar

1. Open Calendar and press New event
2. Fill in the title, time, and Add guests with email addresses
3. Press Add video meeting — onmeil.eu generates a meet.onmeil.eu/... link
4. Save the event

Guests receive an email with both the calendar appointment and the video meeting link. Recipients who use onmeil.eu also get the event straight into their calendar when they accept.

Create a scheduled meeting without a calendar event

If you'd rather have a "clean" meeting without a calendar event:

1. Press New meeting at the top of the Video meetings tab
2. Fill in:
   • Title
   • Description (optional)
   • Starts and Ends (times)
   • Allow guests to join without an account (on by default)
3. Press Create

The meeting appears under UPCOMING in the Video meetings list, and you can copy the link from there.

Guests don't need an account

When you have Allow guests to join without an account turned on, anyone with the link can join — without logging in or registering. They just enter their name the first time. Turn this off to limit the meeting to people with an onmeil.eu account.

Tips for large meetings

• Send the link well in advance — guests can test their microphone and camera before the meeting starts
• For scheduled meetings, a calendar invitation is best because guests get the event in their own calendar with an automatic reminder
• As the host, you always enter first (the room "starts" when you open it)

Privacy

Every meeting link is unique. No one can guess or list existing meetings — only the people you share the link with can join.
