Preferences
Under Settings → Preferences you fine-tune how onmeil.eu looks and behaves. Your changes sync automatically across every device you sign in on.
Appearance
Language
Choose between Norwegian and English. The entire app — buttons, hints, email templates — switches instantly when you pick one.
Theme
Three options:
- Light — always a light background
- Dark — always a dark background
- System — follows whatever system theme your device is set to
You can also switch quickly using the theme button at the bottom of the left sidebar.
Calendar
These settings control the default values used when you create new calendar events.
Start week on
Which day the week starts on in the calendar view. Monday is the default. You can also choose Sunday or Saturday.
Default duration
The default length of a new event: 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or 60 minutes (default).
Default reminder
How long before an event you're notified:
- None (default)
- At the event
- 5, 10, 15, 30 minutes before
- 1 hour before
- 1 day before
You can always override the reminder on a per-event basis.
Email
Undo send
Delay outgoing email so you can stop it if you change your mind. Choose between Off (default), 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 20 seconds, or 30 seconds.
Once you've sent an email with an undo window enabled, an Undo button appears at the bottom of the screen for the full delay.
Reading pane
Where the reading view appears:
- Right — list on the left, email on the right (default)
- Bottom — list on top, email below
Conversations
How multiple emails in the same thread are shown:
- Threaded — all replies grouped into a single row (default)
- Flat list — each email is its own row
Help
The Show introduction button replays the four-screen welcome tour shown at first login. Handy if you want a quick tour or have forgotten where something was.
