Create your onmeil.eu account

You can set up an account on onmeil.eu in just a few minutes. You pick a plan, confirm your mobile number with a code sent by SMS, and set a password — then your account is ready to use.

Step 1: Start the sign-up

Go to onmeil.eu and click Create account, or go straight to onmeil.eu/signup.

Step 2: Choose a plan

First, pick a plan. You can choose between Free, Plus, and Pro, and you can switch plans later from Settings → Subscription.

You can also choose monthly or annual billing — paying annually gives you a discount. See Choose a plan for a comparison of what each plan includes.

It's perfectly fine to begin with the Free plan and upgrade later, once you know what you need more of.

Step 3: Fill in your details

Now it's time to set up your account. Here you enter:

1. First name and Last name
2. Your preferred email address (the part before @onmeil.eu) — we'll show you right away whether it's available
3. Mobile number (with country code, e.g. +47 for Norway)
4. An optional secondary email address — recommended for recovery if you lose access
5. A strong Password (at least 8 characters) and confirm it
6. Accept the terms and the privacy policy

A secondary email matters

We recommend adding an existing email address. It's used as a backup if you forget your password or change phones.

Step 4: Confirm your mobile number

We'll send a 6-digit code to your mobile number by SMS. Once you've received it:

1. Enter the code in the fields
2. Click Confirm and create account

Didn't get the code?

Wait a moment, then click Resend below the code field. If you need to correct the number, use Change number.

Step 5: Enter your address

For extra security, we ask for your Norwegian-registered address. This is the last thing we need to verify your account.

1. Enter your street address — we'll suggest Norwegian addresses from Kartverket as you type
2. Fill in your postal code (4 digits) and city
3. Click Continue

We ask for your address to make sure your account is genuine, and so that — if you later decide to upgrade your subscription — we're properly synced with our accounting system. You can change the address anytime under Settings → Subscription → Billing address.

Step 6: Payment details (Plus and Pro only)

If you chose Plus or Pro, you'll need to enter your card details.

1. Fill in your card details in the fields
2. Click Subscribe

Your card is processed by our payment provider — we only store a security token and the last four digits. You can manage your subscription later under Settings → Subscription.

Want to hold off on upgrading?

Go back to the plan picker and choose Free. You can upgrade anytime later from Settings → Subscription.

Welcome!

After confirmation, you're automatically signed in to onmeil.eu. A short welcome tour shows you the essentials across four screens — feel free to skip it and reopen it later from Settings → Preferences → Help → Show introduction.

You can start sending and receiving email right away. If you've used another service before, you can bring your email, contacts, and calendar with you — see Import from Gmail, from Microsoft, or from another IMAP account.
