Invitees and RSVP
When you create an event and invite guests, you can see who's said yes, no, or maybe, and who hasn't replied yet — and manage your guests as the event gets closer.
RSVP status
Every guest on an event has one of these statuses:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Coming | Accepted the invitation |
| Declined | Said no thanks |
| Maybe | Tentative — not sure |
| No reply | Hasn't replied yet |
Abbreviations in the compact view: yes / no / maybe / waiting.
View the guest list
Open the event to see who's invited. Each guest is shown with their name, email address, and status. The event's organizer is marked specially — that's the person who created it and manages it.
If you invited someone yourself who isn't the main organizer, you may also see an optional flag next to guests you marked as "can come but doesn't have to."
Resend an invitation
Has a guest not replied, and you think the invitation landed in their spam folder or got forgotten? Click Resend next to the guest.
- While it's sending, you'll see Sending…
- Afterward you'll get the confirmation "Invitation resent to {email}"
- If it fails: "Couldn't resend to {email}"
To avoid bombarding guests with invitations, you can only resend once per minute per person. If you try too quickly, you'll see "Wait a minute before resending" or a more compact "Reminded today" message.
Co-host
Need help running the event — maybe someone else should moderate the meeting room or manage RSVPs? You can give a guest co-host status.
Here's how:
- Open the event and find the guest in the list
- Click Make co-host
- The guest gets a Co-host badge next to their name
Co-hosts can manage the event much like the organizer — invite more people, resend invitations, and turn the lobby on or off in a video meeting. As the organizer, you still keep overall control.
To remove co-host status, click Remove as co-host on the guest.
Remove a guest
If you need to take someone off the invitation list:
- Open the event
- Find the guest
- Click Remove from event
The guest no longer gets updates about the event and can't join the video meeting room.
Tips
- Send a reminder 1-2 days ahead for important meetings by using Resend
- Mark guests as optional when it's fine if they don't come — that way both you and they know that attending is optional
- Use a co-host for larger events where you need someone to help out on the day
